Multnomah Youth Commission (MYC)

The Multnomah Youth Commission (MYC) is a diverse group of youth from around the City of Portland and Multnomah County, coming together under a common goal: to make the voice of youth heard. By developing policy, we work to infuse the youth perspective at all levels; in government, schools, private organizations and more.

We also tackle important projects, like youth hunger. We collect data from young people on key issues and translate it for policy makers so they can incorporate the views of young people into City of Portland and Multnomah County decision-making. And we recognize youth who do outstanding work for their community through our Youth Involvement Awards.
