Early Childhood 
Our early childhood work is led by our Early Childhood Council
(ECC), a volunteer group made up of dozens of early childhood professionals
and lay people. We focus on kids 0-8 and their families. Our goal
is to help all children reach their full potential.
Some of our ongoing efforts include maintaining our Parent Educator
and Resource List (PEARL). PEARL connects families with the parent
educators and resources they need to raise thriving children. We
also oversee implementation of the Healthy Start program, funded
through the Oregon Children's Plan, and the Early Childhood Framework.
And last year we began our Early Childhood Learning Community professional
development series.
