Services: Serves as the Health Department's community advisory board. Provides input and direction for community health center activities (primary care, dental, nursing, early childhood services, school-based, pharmacy and diagnostic imaging services). Advises on current and emerging matters in public health, including program reviews, policy development and budget recommendations. The Council also serves as the Health Department's Citizen Budget Advisory Committee (CBAC), as required by the Multnomah County Board of Commissioners' citizen involvement ordinance. Membership includes county residents who access clinical services at the Health Department, representatives from health care organizations, and community members who have an interest in public health.
