The Multnomah County Records Program provides records management services to over 200 county and local agencies, including records management consulting, retention scheduling, records center storage, image conversion, and confidential document recycling. The program provides storage for approximately 33,000 c.f. of records in a secure, controlled, and low cost operation.
The Records Program provides direct access to the public for certain records, including original Plat Maps (1871 - Present), and Cancelled Voter Registration Cards (1903 - 1990). However, since the majority of records held are exempt from disclosure in accordance with Oregon Public Records Law, public access is generally provided through contacting the depositing county agency. If you have questions about which agency to contact for access, feel free to call us at (503)988-3741.
